Israeli Shelling in Gaza Results in Multiple Civilian Casualties.


GAZA CITY: Several civilians were killed and wounded on Wednesday in the Israeli bombardment of various parts of the Gaza Strip. Local sources reported that an occupation drone targeted a group of civilians near the al-Shifa Tower west of Gaza City, resulting in the killing of several civilians and the injury of others.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, Israeli drones also opened fire on displaced people on Salah al-Din Road east of Gaza City in the central Gaza Strip, injuring many people. A civilian was killed and others were injured by gunfire fired from an Israeli drone targeting the al-Maghazi refugee camp in the center of the Strip. The occupation artillery also shelled the homes of the Abu Mahdi family west of Nuseirat Camp.

Israeli forces targeted the Abu Tammam School in Beit Lahiya in the north of the Strip, resulting in the killing and injury of several civilians. An Israeli sniper also shot and killed a young man at the Halabi roundabout area in Jabalia al-Balad, north o
f the Gaza Strip. Another citizen was killed after Israeli forces opened fire targeting a group of citizens northwest of Rafah.

An Israeli reconnaissance drone fired a missile at a group of civilians near the Shuhada roundabout in Bureij camp, located in central Gaza. The strike resulted in multiple casualties. During the 60 days of military operations in northern Gaza, more than 3,700 civilians lost their lives, approximately 10,000 were injured, and at least 1,750 others were detained amidst widespread devastation and displacement.

Israeli forces have begun displacing residents of Beit Lahia, forcing them to leave their homes and shelters through siege and relentless bombardment. Medical sources reported that the oxygen supply at Kamal Adwan Hospital was entirely cut off after being targeted by Israeli forces yesterday, leading to a complete shutdown of health services.
