Tuqu': Israeli occupation forces Tuesday night seized an apartment belonging to a Palestinian resident in the town of Tuqu', southeast of Bethlehem, according to a local official. Director of Tuqu' Village Council, Taysir Abu Mufreh, informed WAFA correspondent that the occupation forces took over an apartment on the third floor of a residential building owned by Eid Ahmad Suleiman. The building is located in the Khirbet ed-Deir area of the town, and the forces have turned it into a military outpost, deploying snipers on the rooftop.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Abu Mufreh stated that the occupation forces notified the building's owner that they would seize the apartment for 40 days. The apartment was being prepared by Suleiman for his son, who is about to get married, indicating the personal impact of the seizure on the family.
