Ramallah: Israeli military forces on Tuesday carried out land-leveling operations in the village of Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah, according to local sources. The forces, accompanied by a military bulldozer, entered the village and razed privately owned agricultural lands belonging to Palestinian residents.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Deir Jarir has witnessed repeated Israeli incursions and settler attacks in recent months. These incidents are part of a broader pattern of land confiscation and harassment in villages across the eastern Ramallah region.
Residents of Deir Jarir report that the ongoing actions are aimed at restricting Palestinian access to their land. They believe these measures are paving the way for the expansion of settlements in the area, which has been a point of contention and conflict.
