Israeli Military Drills Spark Fires Across Northern Jordan Valley Grazing Lands

Jerusalem: Israeli military drills on Tuesday sparked fires across large areas of the northern Jordan Valley. Human rights activist Fares Fuqaha reported that the Israeli army was conducting military exercises south and west of the villages of Bardala and Kardala in the northern Jordan Valley, which resulted in fires igniting in grazing lands in the area.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the affected lands have been seized by Israeli colonists for years, while Palestinians have been barred from accessing them or using them to graze and feed their livestock.
