Tubas: The Israeli occupation forces tightened the military measures at Tayasir checkpoint east of Tubas on Monday. Local sources reported that the occupation forces intensified their measures against the movement of Palestinian citizens in both directions, causing a significant traffic jam. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the checkpoint, which separates Tubas from the Jordan Valley, has been experiencing military tightening for more than a year. This increased security measure has been hindering the movement of civilians and the transfer of their goods from the Jordan Valley to the local market, causing considerable inconvenience to the local populace.
