The forces maneuvered through the village streets, creating a notable military presence. Foot soldiers were also seen positioned strategically in the heart of the village during the operation.
The incursion concluded with the withdrawal of the forces from Salem, leaving the village once again outside the direct control of the Israeli military. The reasons for the storming and subsequent deployment of forces were not clarified in the immediate reports.
