Israeli Forces Storm Burqa and Surda, Seize Vehicle Keys at Attara Checkpoint

Ramallah: Israeli forces on Friday evening stormed the village of Burqa and the town of Surda in the Ramallah governorate. Local sources reported that an Israeli army unit broke into Burqa, firing live bullets and sound bombs amid Palestinian citizens' homes.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, in a separate development, another occupation force stormed Surda, northeast of Ramallah. They erected a military checkpoint on the main road near a shopping center, where they stopped Palestinian citizens' vehicles and checked their identity cards.

Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers seized the keys of three vehicles at the military checkpoint set up at the entrance to the town of Attara, north of Ramallah. Eyewitnesses said traffic came to a standstill in the Attara bridge area after the soldiers took the keys and left the three vehicles in the middle of the road.
