Israeli Forces Seal Off Main Entrance to Deir Dibwan, Block All Movement

Deir dibwan: Israeli forces this evening closed the main entrance to the town of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah, effectively blocking movement and preventing residents from entering or leaving the area. The closure comes amid mounting tensions in the region.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the Israeli army and police units raided the town from its main entrance. This escalation followed an earlier attack on Deir Dibwan by colonists, who targeted a Palestinian family while they were harvesting olives on their land. The attack on the outskirts of the town led to confrontations between the residents and colonists, with the occupation army reportedly backing the colonists and using live fire.

The colonists, after the initial attack, divided into two groups. One group moved to the nearby town of Beitin, while the other remained in Deir Dibwan. In the course of the aggression, they caused significant damage, including setting agricultural land in Beitin on fire, burning two vehicles, damaging the front fa§ade of a house, and breaking the glass of a mosque at the entrance of Deir Dibwan.

Israeli forces responded by firing tear gas canisters and stun grenades at residents who attempted to confront the colonists, resulting in several cases of suffocation among the residents. Meanwhile, a separate group of colonists attacked homes in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, throwing stones and damaging vehicle glass before being confronted by local residents.
