Gaza: Israeli occupation forces today demolished agricultural lands in the town of Battir, west of Bethlehem, and uprooted dozens of trees. Local resident Mohammad Abu Harithiya reported that the forces raided the area known as 'Ein Abu al-Harith' and bulldozed his two-dunum plot, as well as another two-dunum plot owned by his cousin Saeed.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the demolition operation led to the uprooting of approximately 80 olive and almond saplings. Following the destruction, Israeli forces permitted settlers to graze their sheep on the affected lands and among the uprooted trees, exacerbating the impact on the local agricultural environment.
