Israeli Forces Raid Area Near Jenin, Fire Live Ammunition at School Children

Jenin: Israeli occupation forces, accompanied by a military bulldozer, raided the town of Silat al-Harithiya on Tuesday morning. Local sources reported that the occupation forces fired live ammunition at schoolchildren in the town and evacuated homes surrounding the home of the martyr Raafat Dawasa.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the presence of the military forces led to significant unrest in the area. The operation involved the use of live ammunition, causing heightened tension among the residents, particularly impacting the schoolchildren who were reportedly targeted during the raid.

The raid was part of a continued military operation in the region, which often sees confrontations between local residents and Israeli forces. The evacuation of homes around Raafat Dawasa's residence indicates a strategic move by the forces, as they continue their activities in the West Bank area.

The situation in Silat al-Harithiya remains tense, with residents expressing concern over the safety of children and the broader implications of such military actions in civilian areas.
