Ramallah: Israeli occupation forces on Saturday evening raided the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, and assaulted residents, according to a local official.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Amin Abu Aliya, head of the Al-Mughayyir Village Council, reported that Israeli forces stormed the village, physically assaulted several residents, and briefly detained them in one of its neighborhoods.
The forces also raided a home and several shops, assaulting individuals inside, and fired sound bombs and tear gas canisters toward residents and their homes. Despite the aggressive actions, no injuries were reported during the raid.
Al-Mughayyir and its surrounding villages and towns frequently experience repeated raids by occupation forces, alongside attacks by colonists.
