Ramallah:Israeli forces blocked Palestinian farmers from accessing their land in the town of Kafr Ni'ma, located west of Ramallah, on Saturday morning. This action prevented the farmers from harvesting olives and forced them to vacate the area.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, there has been an escalation in attacks by Israeli forces and settlers on Palestinian farmers and olive harvesters with the onset of the olive harvest season across the West Bank. These incidents have included physical assaults, restrictions on access to agricultural land, damage to trees, and theft of crops.
This year, there has been a noticeable increase in such attacks, which have become more organized, posing a significant threat to the livelihoods of thousands of Palestinian families.
