Ramallah: Israeli forces prevented Palestinian farmers from reaching their lands in the village of Deir Ammar, west of Ramallah, to harvest olives, according to local sources. They reported that Israeli troops closed the road leading to the olive groves and stopped both farmers and foreign solidarity activists from accessing the area.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, earlier in the day, Israeli forces also barred Palestinians from entering their farmlands in the town of Kobar, north of Ramallah. During this confrontation, the troops fired live ammunition at the farmers.
