Tubas: Israeli occupation forces today prevented dozens of teachers from reaching their schools in the northern Jordan Valley, northeast of the occupied West Bank. Director of Education and Higher Education in Tubas, Azmi Blawneh, reported that 104 male and female teachers were unable to reach their schools this morning after Israeli forces closed the Tayasir and Ein Shibli checkpoints.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the closure disrupted the educational process at six public schools and a kindergarten, affecting around 1,100 students. The incident has raised concerns over the impact on education in the region, as these closures hinder the regular functioning of schools and disrupt the learning environment for both students and educators.
