Israeli Forces Maintain Siege on Ras al-Ahmar Area

Ras al-Ahmar:Israeli occupation forces have maintained a siege on the Ras al-Ahmar area for 36 consecutive days, isolating it from the surrounding regions.

According to Palestine news and Information Agency, Abdullah Bisharat, head of the Atuf and Ras al-Ahmar Village Council, stated that the occupation forces continue to block all access routes to the community, which has resulted in the displacement of 19 Palestinian families.

Before the siege, 47 Palestinian families were residing in the area. The Atuf and Ras al-Ahmar region has been subject to extensive land-clearing operations by the Israeli forces, aimed at constructing a military road. This road is planned to be 22 kilometers long and 50 meters wide, stretching from the Ein Shibli checkpoint southeast of Tubas to the Tayasir checkpoint east of the city.
