Israeli Forces Kill Minor in Southern Gaza Strip

Rafah: Israeli occupation forces Wednesday evening killed a Palestinian minor in the city of Rafah in the southern war-torn Gaza Strip, according to WAFA correspondent. He said that Hamza al-Hams was killed after being injured by Israeli army gunfire near the al-Awda roundabout in central Rafah.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the occupation forces had been opening gunfire at civilians in several areas along the Strip’s eastern and southern frontier, killing Adi Adel Al-Dabari to the east of Khan Younes in the morning hours. Israel launched a genocidal offensive on the war-torn Strip during the period from October 7, 2023, to January 19, 2025, killing and injuring over 158,000 Palestinians.

Moreover, over 14,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip. Palestinian and international organizations say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.

The Israeli aggression also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt, in what became Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
