Israeli Forces Issue Stop-Work Orders in Northern Jordan Valley

Ein al-hilweh: Israeli occupation forces issued stop-work orders on Thursday targeting all residential structures and livestock pens in the community of Ein al-Hilweh, located in the northern Jordan Valley. Mahdi Daraghmeh, head of the al-Maleh and Bedouin Communities Council, revealed that these orders affect every structure in the area, providing residents a deadline until July 16 to halt all activities. The orders raise concerns that Israeli authorities might demolish the structures after the specified date.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Daraghmeh highlighted that most of the threatened buildings have been standing for a long time, amplifying fears among the residents about possible imminent demolitions. The community consists of around 13 families who have recently experienced increasing colonist violence. This includes raids on their tents, attempted livestock theft, and hindrances to grazing activities in nearby pastures.
