Israeli Forces Issue Stop-Work Orders for Homes Near Bethlehem

Bethlehem: Israeli occupation forces issued stop-work orders today for 15 homes in the town of Tuqu', southeast of Bethlehem.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Tuqu' Municipal Council Director Tayseer Abu Mufreh stated that the occupation forces raided the "Al-Masabih" area, east of the town, and delivered halt on construction orders for 15 homes. These homes belong to residents from the Abu Mufreh, Arouj, Hamid, and Jibril families, with the orders being issued on the grounds of lacking building permits.

Abu Mufreh also noted that similar actions had been taken by the occupation forces a few days earlier. Stop-work orders were issued for more than 20 homes in the "Al-Halqum" area, southwest of the town.
