Tulkarm: Israeli occupation forces on Friday continued their aggressive operations against the Tulkarm governorate in the northern occupied West Bank.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, the forces expanded their offensive, targeting residential areas with storming operations and launching a mass campaign of detentions among Palestinian civilians.
The correspondent reported that the Israeli forces invaded civilian homes in the southern neighborhood of Tulkarm near Al-Qassam Mosque, conducting searches and interrogating the residents. Several buildings, including one owned by the Salman family, were converted into military outposts by the forces.
In the eastern suburb of Dhannaba, another Israeli unit raided homes in the Jabal al-Sayyid area, performing extensive searches and causing damage before arresting numerous citizens. The detainees were marched in single file toward Nablus Street and later interrogated and released.
Additionally, Israeli forces deployed vehicles and infantry along Nablus Street, near Tulkarm refugee camp, Al-Murabitin Mosque in the western neighborhood, and Izzbat al-Jarad neighborhood. They conducted house searches and restricted movement in these areas.
Military bulldozers demolished agricultural greenhouses in the Dhannaba neighborhood and partially blocked Nablus Street with concrete barriers. The Israeli operations in Tulkarm intensified following an incident on Thursday, where two Israeli soldiers were injured by an IED targeting their military vehicle.
