Israeli Forces Intensify Operations in Shu’fat Refugee Camp and Anata

Jerusalem: Israeli forces have intensified their operations in the Shu'fat refugee camp and the town of Anata, located north of occupied Jerusalem. This marks a continuation of the aggressive military campaign that began last Monday, targeting the homes of detainees, former detainees, and families of those killed. The operations have been characterized by violent raids, detentions, summonses, and widespread restrictions affecting both residents and commercial activities.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Israeli occupation forces have been heavily deployed throughout the camp and town, establishing checkpoints and storming dozens of homes and commercial establishments. These actions have included the confiscation and destruction of goods, issuing fines to residents and shop owners, and conducting detentions and summonses, particularly targeting young men and minors.

Reports from young men who were later released indicate that Israeli forces have used various methods to summon them, including phone calls and direct confrontations during home raids. The situation remains tense as the military operations continue to disrupt the daily lives of those living in Shu'fat and Anata.
