Gaza city: Israeli naval boats opened fire on Saturday off the coast of the Port area west of Gaza City, while Israeli artillery and military vehicles unleashed heavy gunfire east of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

According to Palestine news and Information Agency, since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11, the death toll has surged to 1,359, with 4,571 Palestinians injured and 831 bodies recovered. The ongoing conflict has led to a significant increase in casualties, with the death toll from Israel's ongoing war on the Gaza Strip rising to 73,670 and 174,682 Palestinians injured since October 7, 2023.

Hundreds of victims remain trapped under the rubble and on roads, as ambulance and rescue crews continue to be unable to reach them. The situation remains dire, with limited access to essential services and continued violence exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the region.
