Jenin:Israeli forces expelled Palestinian farmers from lands near the evacuated Sanur military camp, located on land belonging to the town of Jaba', south of Jenin. During the incident, tear gas grenades were fired at the farmers.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA – English, Jaba' Mayor Mohammad al-Baddad reported that the Israeli forces forced all farmers to vacate their lands in the area. This action is occurring alongside land-leveling activities by Israeli colonists at the former camp site, intended for establishing a new colonial outpost.
Al-Baddad expressed concern over the expulsion, highlighting the potential for significant economic impact. He warned that this would threaten the farmers' ability to harvest this year's olive crop.
