Israeli Forces Establish Checkpoints in Villages North of Ramallah

Ramallah:Israeli occupation forces have established a military checkpoint at the western entrance to the village of Al-Mughayyir, located northeast of Ramallah, limiting access to the area. This checkpoint, which is at the village's sole entry point, is affecting the movement of residents and vehicles, hindering travel into and out of the village.

According to Palestine news & Information Agency – WAFA – English, other occupation units have also been active in the town of Turmus Ayya, situated in the northern part of the governorate. Initially, they set up a checkpoint for vehicles leaving the town, but traffic flow eventually returned to normal.

Later in the day, around 1000 a.m., these forces raided Turmus Ayya, taking up positions at the "Martyrs' Roundabout" and near the Turmus Ayya Boys' School. Subsequently, they moved toward the western neighborhood and were later seen in the Salun neighborhood before heading toward the town center.

No injuries or detentions have been reported as a consequence of these military activities so far.
