Israeli Forces Establish Checkpoint Near Bethlehem, Conduct Raids in Ramallah and Al-Bireh

Bethlehem: Israeli occupation forces on Sunday evening set up a military checkpoint west of Bethlehem, raided towns and villages northeast of Ramallah, and carried out a separate raid in the city of Al-Bireh.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli forces erected a checkpoint west of Bethlehem, where they stopped and searched vehicles and checked citizens' IDs, causing a traffic jam in the area.

In addition, Israeli forces conducted raids in the town of Turmus Ayya and the village of Kafr Malik, located northeast of Ramallah. The forces were deployed in several areas, but no detentions were reported during these operations.

Israeli forces also entered the city of Al-Bireh on Sunday evening, where they fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters. Despite the aggressive actions, there were no reports of injuries or detentions during the raid.
