Hebron: Israeli occupation forces on Friday tightened the restrictions on the entry of Palestinians to the Ibrahimi Mosque in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron, according to local sources. They reported that the occupying forces implemented stricter measures in the vicinity of the mosque, effectively barring thousands of Palestinian worshippers from entering the mosque to perform Eid prayers.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, only 50 worshippers were allowed access to the mosque, while the rest were compelled to perform their prayers outdoors. The report highlighted that the occupation forces had previously closed the mosque for 14 consecutive days, taking advantage of the ongoing conflict in Iran, before reopening it under tightened entry restrictions.
