Israeli Forces Detain Three School Principals South of Bethlehem

Bethlehem: Israeli occupation forces detained three school principals in the town of al-Khader, south of Bethlehem, on Monday and subjected them to field interrogation. Alaa Hajjaj, principal of al-Khader Boys' Secondary School, reported that Israeli troops stormed the Saeed al-Aas Elementary School and detained its principal, Maher Abu Khairan, along with Samah Ramadan, principal of the Dhat al-Nitaqain Elementary School for Girls.

According to Palestine news and Information Agency, the school administrators were held inside one of the classrooms and subjected to field interrogation, while being threatened with arrest and further raids on schools. The al-Khader school complex, located in the old city adjacent to bypass road 60, has been subjected to repeated attacks by Israeli forces. These attacks include raiding schools, harassing students, and detaining teaching staff, all in an attempt to disrupt the educational process.
