Israeli Forces Detain Siblings After Assaulting Family During Anabta Raid

Anabta: Israeli occupation forces detained a young Palestinian man and his sister on Monday after assaulting them, along with their father and brother, during a raid on the town of Anabta, east of Tulkarm.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the forces detained Mo'men Ghaleb Mazid and his sister Diana following a raid on their home, during which the soldiers ransacked the property and assaulted Mo'men, his father, and his brother.

The occupation forces initiated a large-scale raid on Anabta in the early morning, which lasted around 12 hours. The raid featured a significant deployment of military vehicles and infantry units across various neighborhoods and streets.

The forces conducted a widespread detention operation in the town, focusing on dozens of residents, many of whom were former detainees. Homes were raided and searched, with contents vandalized, and young men were physically assaulted.

Additionally, the forces took over a local resident's home, converting it into a military barracks and field interrogation center, after evacuating its residents.

Furthermore, the occupation forces detained a Palestine TV crew, subjected them to search and interrogation procedures, and subsequently forced them to leave the town.
