Gaza city: Israeli occupation forces today detained at least nine Palestinians during an incursion into the town of Aqqaba, in the West Bank province of Tubas, according to local sources.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Director of the Tubas branch of the Palestinian Prisoners' Society, Kamal Bani Odeh, reported that nine Palestinians had been detained, with an unspecified number of other residents being held by the Israeli forces. During the incursion, a house under construction was repurposed by the forces into a field interrogation center for young men.
In response to the situation, the Tubas Directorate of Education announced a delay in the start of classes until 9 a.m. due to the ongoing Israeli raid. The incursion began in the early hours, with Israeli forces deploying in several areas amid gunfire and drone activity. Local sources indicated that soldiers conducted raids on several Palestinian homes and seized a private vehicle.
