Gaza: Israeli forces detained a Palestinian man on Tuesday at the Anab military checkpoint east of Tulkarm. Local sources reported that Zaid Asaad Faqha, a resident of the town of Anabta, was detained while passing through the checkpoint.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Zaid Asaad Faqha is a former Palestinian prisoner. The circumstances surrounding his detention at the checkpoint have not been disclosed. The Anab checkpoint is one of several military checkpoints in the region, which frequently sees detentions of local residents.
