Tulkarm:Israeli occupation forces conducted a raid in the suburbs of Thanaba and Iktaba, as well as in the Al-Mahjar neighborhood of the Nur Shams refugee camp, located east of Tulkarm, early on Tuesday morning. During the operation, they entered and searched multiple homes and residential buildings, detaining several residents.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, local sources reported that the forces detained Shaker Mahajna, his wife, and their son after raiding their home in the Iktaba suburb. The family was taken away and later left handcuffed near the Al-Murabitin Mosque in Tulkarm's western neighborhood.
Additionally, the forces assaulted Yahya Hamarsha, a released prisoner, during a raid on his home in the Al-Mahjar neighborhood, where they also caused damage to his property.
The previous night, the forces had stormed the city center of Tulkarm and its southern neighborhood, causing disruptions by obstructing citizen and vehicle movements. This was accompanied by the firing of live ammunition, sound grenades, and tear gas. Several young men were arrested and taken to military barracks within the Tulkarm refugee camp, though they were released later.
