Al-dhahiriya: Israeli occupation forces detained eight Palestinians on Wednesday from the town of al-Dhahiriya, south of Hebron. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Palestinian security and local sources identified those detained as Hussein Mohammad Hussein al-Batat, his brother Bassam and his son Walid Bassam al-Batat, Nassar Abdel Latif Hammad al-Tal, Bara Rami al-Hawarin, Loay al-Batat, Qassam Mohammad Mansour al-Qaisiya, and Mohammad Zaid al-Qaisiya. The detainees were taken to an undisclosed location after Israeli forces searched their homes and ransacked their contents. The forces also conducted searches in several homes belonging to the al-Tal, al-Shabaan, Awaisa, Qaisiya, and Abu Allan families. They expanded their operations to the towns of Bani Na'im and al-Samu', where they searched several vehicles. In addition, Israeli forces established multiple military checkpoints at the entrances to Hebron and its surrounding towns, villages, and refugee camps. Several main and seco ndary roads were closed using iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds.
