Jerusalem: Israeli forces detained dozens of Palestinian workers Monday morning in the vicinity of occupied Jerusalem. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, more than 40 workers from the West Bank were detained at the Al-Za'ayem checkpoint located east of Jerusalem. This incident is part of ongoing tensions in the region. Since the onset of the aggression against Gaza in October 2023, Israel has consistently refused to grant Palestinian workers permits to work in the 1948 territories. This refusal has led to the arrest of thousands of Palestinian workers. Additionally, several workers have been killed or injured near the separation wall, highlighting the severity of the situation.
