Israeli Forces Demolish Two Palestinian Houses in Ramallah and Jerusalem

Ramallah: Israeli occupation forces demolished two houses on Wednesday in the towns of Shuqba, west of Ramallah, and Al-Sawahra, southeast of Jerusalem.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, in Shuqba, Israeli troops demolished a two-story house belonging to Abdul Halim Thabet, which included a swimming pool and a playground. The house was home to seven people and had been slated for demolition three days prior.

In Al-Sawahra, Israeli forces demolished a two-story house belonging to Mustafa Abdul Ghani Za'atra, under the pretext that it was built without a permit.

The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission documented 37 demolitions carried out by Israeli authorities during April, targeting 78 structures, including 37 inhabited homes, 34 agricultural facilities, and five sources of livelihood. The demolitions were concentrated in Jerusalem, Ramallah and al-Bireh, and Bethlehem.

The occupation authorities also distributed 21 demolition notices targeting Palestinian structures. The notices were concentrated in the Hebron governorate, followed by Jerusalem, Jenin, and Qalqilya.
