Gaza: Israeli forces commenced the demolition of several Palestinian structures in Khirbet al-Ras al-Ahmar, located southeast of Tubas. The demolition activities began on Thursday, targeting both residential and agricultural structures in the area.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Mu'taz Bisharat, who oversees the Jordan Valley file in the Tubas Governorate, confirmed that Israeli bulldozers were involved in the dismantling of the structures. These included livestock pens and a critical water well, with the equipment related to the well being confiscated during the operation.
The structures that were demolished are situated in zones classified as Area B under the Oslo Accords. Under these agreements, Area B is designated for both Palestinian civil control and Israeli military control, adding complexity to the region's governance and land use regulations.
