Nablus:Israeli forces reportedly demolished a memorial in the village of Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, located south of Nablus, on Monday evening. The memorial was dedicated to Palestinians who had been killed by the Israeli occupation.
According to Palestine news & Information Agency – WAFA – English, local sources indicated that the demolition was carried out by an Israeli army force, which was accompanied by a military bulldozer. The forces also seized a model map of Palestine that was part of the memorial site.
In a related action, Israeli forces raided the Iktaba suburb, east of Tulkarm, on the same evening. Local sources reported to WAFA that several Israeli military vehicles positioned themselves in the center of the suburb, causing obstructions to the movement of residents and vehicles. During this raid, Israeli soldiers removed the Palestinian flag that was flying at Martyrs' Square.
