Israeli Forces Demolish Palestinian Home and Water Cistern in Masafer Yatta

Gaza: Israeli forces demolished on Tuesday a Palestinian house in the village of Deirat, east of Yatta. Media activist Osama Makhamra reported that Israeli forces razed the 230-square-meter home of Osama Issa Masaaf, which housed two families totaling 12 people. Troops also demolished a water cistern with a capacity of 200 cubic meters.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Israeli forces' actions did not stop at demolitions. They also assaulted residents, causing several individuals to suffer from tear gas inhalation. This incident is part of a broader and ongoing demolition campaign in the Masafer Yatta area, which targets dozens of homes, tents, water wells, and other structures. The campaign is seen as an effort to displace residents and facilitate colonist control over the land.
