Jenin: Israeli occupation authorities today began demolishing several commercial structures located along the road connecting Marj Ibn Amer Roundabout with the village of Aaba and extending to the Haddad Junction, east of Jenin. Israeli forces also closed roads leading to the area as the demolition operation was underway.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Tareq Ighbariyeh, head of the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission's office in Jenin Governorate, stated that Israeli forces had notified the owners of approximately 40 commercial structures of their planned demolition around 10 days ago. He added that the closure of roads leading to the street coincided with the start of the demolition operation, obstructing the movement of residents and access to the area.
