Beit ummar: Israeli occupation forces continued on Saturday to impose a curfew on the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, for the third consecutive day. Local media activist Mohammad Awad reported ongoing military presence since Thursday evening, with infantry units patrolling the streets and conducting searches in homes belonging to members of the Abu Ayash and Akhlil families.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the military actions have led to the detainment of several residents and the obstruction of main and secondary roads using concrete blocks and earth mounds. The curfew has also affected religious practices, with Friday prayers being halted in all mosques across the town, and more than 25 internal roads being shut down.
In a related incident, Israeli forces detained a 15-year-old child following a raid on his family's home in the village of Al-Mazra'ah al-Gharbiyah, located northwest of Ramallah.
