Tammun: Israeli occupation forces persist with the construction of a colonial road east of Tammun, a town located south of Tubas in the occupied West Bank. Mu'taz Bisharat, responsible for settlement affairs in the Tubas Governorate, reported that Israeli troops resumed the road's construction after raiding the Atouf area, hindering farmers from accessing their lands in the affected region.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, the construction began two months ago and is part of a broader project aimed at establishing a separation wall. This wall is planned to extend from the Ein Shibli checkpoint toward the Tayasir checkpoint, located east of Tubas. Furthermore, Israeli authorities issued land seizure notices at the end of the previous year, targeting approximately 1,042 dunams of Palestinian land. This measure is intended to facilitate the road's construction and the establishment of a colonial wall, which will partially traverse the area.
