Israeli Forces Conduct Raids in Bethlehem Region, Detain Journalist

Gaza: Israeli occupation forces raided several towns and villages across the Bethlehem governorate on Tuesday, temporarily detaining a Palestinian journalist and raiding a poultry farm.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, a security source reported that Israeli forces entered the towns of Dar Salah, Al-Ubeidiya, Al-Shawawra, Za'atara, and Harmala, located east of Bethlehem. The raids were part of a broader operation in the area.

The source further detailed that the forces also targeted the Dheisheh refugee camp, situated south of Bethlehem. During this operation, journalist Muath Amarneh was detained for several hours before being released. The incident drew attention to the ongoing tensions in the region.

Additionally, Israeli forces entered the town of Beit Fajjar, where they raided a poultry farm. During this raid, quantities of eggs were destroyed. The operation continued as forces stormed the nearby village of Marah Rabah, marking a day of heightened military activity in the Bethlehem area.
