Jenin: Israeli forces detained several Palestinians, including the son of slain Palestinian Fathi Khazem, during overnight raids on Monday across Jenin governorate.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources reported that Israeli troops detained Hamam, the son of slain Palestinian Fathi Khazem, after raiding his home in Jenin's German neighborhood. The military operations extended to the town of Jaba'a, south of Jenin, where Israeli forces detained Yazan Shqaiqat following a search of his home.
In another incident, Israeli forces conducted a raid in the town of Barta'a, located southwest of Jenin and isolated by Israel's separation wall, detaining several workers found in the area. Simultaneously, Israeli forces stormed the towns of Mithlon, Arraba, and Ya'bad at dawn, deploying throughout the streets and neighborhoods, although no detentions were reported in these localities.
The occupation forces' continued raids and incursions into the Jenin governorate align with ongoing detention campaigns and the implementation of stricter military measures against the Palestinian population.
