Gaza city: Israeli forces raided the "Eco Park" in the Al-Aqsa neighborhood of the Al-Malsat area, located in the Shuweika suburb north of Tulkarm, on Thursday and seized multiple wild animals kept at the park.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Yousef Al-Hajj Qasim, the park's executive director, reported that an Israeli army force entered the park, conducted an extensive search, and subsequently seized several wild animals.
The operation also involved the detention of a park employee, Zahi Akoubeh, who was taken to an undisclosed location by the troops. The motives behind the raid and the conditions of the seized animals remain undisclosed.
