Ramallah: Israeli forces on Saturday evening carried out large-scale military incursions targeting several villages and towns in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate. The head of the al-Mughayyir village council, Amin Abu Aliya, reported that Israeli army forces stormed the village, deploying sound bombs and tear gas, although there were no injuries or arrests.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, security sources confirmed that Israeli forces entered the town of Beitunia, where they raided a commercial store, seized surveillance camera footage, and closed off the area between the schools and fruit squares. During this operation, snipers occupied the rooftops of several buildings.
Israeli forces also conducted raids in the town of Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah, and the village of Kafr Ni'ma, west of Ramallah, without any reports of detentions or property damage. Additionally, a military checkpoint was established at the entrance to the villages of Shuqba and Shibtin, west of Ramallah, where vehicles were stopped and IDs were checked.
