Bethlehem: Israeli occupation forces on Friday closed Wadi Umm Salmouna road, south of Bethlehem, according to a local official. Head of Umm Salmouna Village Council Mahmoud Taqatqa said that Israeli forces blocked the road to the village's main entrance with earth mounds and large boulders, effectively restricting movement for residents of Umm Salmouna and surrounding communities, including Beit Fajjar and Marah Rabah.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the road closure by the Israeli forces has raised concerns among residents, as it significantly impacts their daily activities and access to essential services. The closure has been seen as a measure that adds to the difficulties faced by the Palestinian communities in the area, further isolating them from nearby towns and cities.
