Salfit:Israeli occupation forces have obstructed residents in the towns of Al-Zawiya and Marda from harvesting olives as of Sunday evening. In the midst of their work on the agricultural lands, several women were detained.
According to Palestine news and Information Agency – WAFA, the detentions occurred in the "Al-Ain" area, located south of Al-Zawiya, with the forces halting the ongoing olive harvest.
Additionally, Israeli occupation forces, along with colonists, entered the "Al-Khirba" area east of Marda. During this raid, they checked the identity cards of the residents and prohibited them from harvesting olives.
These actions by the occupation forces pose a threat to the farmers' access to their lands, significantly impacting their ability to harvest crops and resulting in substantial economic losses.
