Gaza: Israeli occupation forces on Sunday morning began bulldozing dozens of dunams of Palestinian-owned land in the town of Deir Ballut, in the central West Bank province of Salfit. Mayor of Deir Ballut, Jihad al-Qasim, reported that the forces, accompanied by three military bulldozers, entered the Abu al-Rayat area and commenced the land leveling activities.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the land clearing is part of ongoing efforts to seize Palestinian agricultural lands, restrict farmers' access, and prevent cultivation. The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission recorded 798 attacks by Israeli colonists in July, resulting in the deaths of seven Palestinians in the Nablus and Ramallah governorates. Since the beginning of 2026, colonist attacks have totaled 4,286.
In July, Israeli authorities issued 33 military orders, including 31 land seizure orders affecting 830.917 dunams of Palestinian land. Additionally, 80 demolitions were carried out, impacting 165 structures which included 80 inhabited homes, eight uninhabited homes, 63 agricultural structures, and 11 livelihood facilities. There were also 34 demolition notices issued for Palestinian structures.
