Israeli Forces Arrest Palestinian Child and Young Man, Assault Residents During Raids in Hebron


Hebron: Israeli forces detained a Palestinian child and a young man on Thursday, raided homes, and abused them in the Hebron governorate, south of the West Bank.



According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, Israeli troops stormed the Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, arresting Nour Maher Al-Sharif, 14, and Mahmoud Abdul Jawabra, 23, after raiding their homes, searching them, and ransacking their contents.



Activist Osama Makhamreh reported to WAFA that forces also stormed Khirbet Asfi in Masafer Yatta, searched residents’ tents and caves, and destroyed their contents. The soldiers also assaulted and abused the residents, leaving several with bruises, including Ismail Badr Awad and his son Rami.



The forces also stormed the village of Al-Tuwana, raided all the homes of the residents, detained a number of them, and filmed them. No arrests were reported.
