Gaza: An Israeli occupation court has rejected four petitions aimed at preventing the demolition of a school and three homes in the Masafer Yatta area, located south of Hebron.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local activist Osama Makhamreh reported that the court dismissed a petition opposing an Israeli military order to demolish the Zif Secondary Girls School, situated north of Yatta. This school, which serves 251 female students through several caravans, has faced demolition threats since 2016.
In addition to the school's case, the court also turned down three petitions intended to stop the demolition of three residences in Khirbet al-Mafqara, a part of Masafer Yatta. These homes belong to multiple Palestinian residents.
Makhamreh noted that this decision grants Israeli occupation forces the authorization to proceed with the demolitions, which could occur at any moment.
