NABLUS: Israeli colonists cut down and uprooted dozens of olive trees in the lands of the village of Qaryut, south of Nablus. Anti-settlement activist Bashar al-Qaryuti said that local residents were able to reach their lands adjacent to the illegal colony of Eli and the occupation prevented them from entering them. The local residents were surprised when they found out that the colonists uprooted and cut down dozens of their olive trees. Since October 7, 2023, until October 2024, the occupation army and colonists carried out 16,663 attacks on citizens' lands and properties in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, which led to the uprooting, destruction and damage of a total of 14,280 trees, according to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission.
