Israeli Colonists Steal Livestock from Palestinian Bedouin Community Near Jericho

Jericho: Israeli colonists on Friday morning stole several sheep from the Palestinian Bedouin community of Arab al-Mleihat, located northwest of Jericho in the occupied West Bank. Hassan Mleihat, general coordinator of the Al-Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, reported the incident, highlighting the ongoing challenges faced by the Bedouin community.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, a group of colonists from a nearby illegal outpost entered the village, exited their vehicle, and stole several young sheep belonging to local resident Ibrahim Attallah Ka'abneh. Mleihat emphasized that this theft is part of a growing pattern of colonist violence against Palestinian herders in the area.

Recent incidents have included physical assaults, threats, forced evictions of shepherds from grazing lands, theft of livestock, and the destruction of private property. These actions contribute to an escalating campaign of intimidation and disruption aimed at the Palestinian Bedouin community in Arab al-Mleihat.
